Attorney Ed Wallis Selected as Vice Chair of Memphis UrbanArt Commission
(August 15, 2016 – Memphis, TENN) Glassman, Wyatt, Tuttle & Cox, PC partner Ed Wallis has been selected as Vice Chair for the Memphis UrbanArt Commission for 2016-2017. Wallis joined the UrbanArt Commission Board of Directors in 2015.
“There are quite a few very impressive projects slated for this fiscal year, and being able to lead help lead the organization through this time is an honor,” said Wallis. “I’ve always had an appreciation for the arts and what it does to create new energy in life of any community, so joining the Memphis UrbanArt Commission just made good sense.”
Wallis is a Memphis, Tennessee trial attorney that practices in Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky. He handles a variety of matters that require resolution using pre-suit evaluation, litigation and trial. While not an exhaustive listing, some of the areas in which he helps his clients include business litigation, probate litigation, construction disputes, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, medical devices and products liability. UrbanArt is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, based in Memphis, Tennessee, that has worked to cultivate a dynamic, vibrant, and nurturing community through public art and design. UrbanArt partners with a variety of community stakeholders including neighborhood groups, private developers, and municipal authorities to produce art works of wide ranging media. UrbanArt is committed to bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in the creation and presentation of public art. Committee meetings, community presentations and workshops are scheduled in conjunction with individual public art projects, and UrbanArt hosts programs led by recognized experts.
